I was part of a reading last night called ‘Funny But True.’
It consisted of twelve performers, and I was one of them. I got onstage and told a story about being a redhead.
Afterwards, I had two fellow redheaded women approach and say things like, “Well, you basically described my childhood there” and “Thank you for doing that.” And surprisingly, or not surprisingly, I had several men come up and talk about their redhead ex-girlfriends and what they learned from them.
It was a really fun and funny night. There were some really amazing performers and stories told. But what was best was having a big group of my friends there to hear it all.
